  Curt R. Miner CEO  

Curt Miner joined the Seattle Science Foundation in 2009 with over 18 years of successful fundraising and leadership experience in Education, Medicine and the Arts. Immediately prior to joining SSF, Mr. Miner served as the Director of Development for Pacific Northwest Ballet, the fourth largest ballet company in America.  Prior to his work at PNB, he served as Vice President of Development and Director of the Capital Campaign for Eastside Catholic High School’s new $70 million campus.  He has also served as the Manager of Western Washington University’s Capital Campaign and as the Major Gifts Officer for the University of Washington Medical Affairs Office, where he was responsible for all fundraising for the Department of Medicine and Department of Pediatrics.  Mr. Miner has also served as the Corporate Relations Manager for the Seattle Symphony and Executive Director of the Everett Symphony.
 
Throughout his career, he has provided leadership in securing significant funds and is an expert on all best practices applied in fundraising today.  Mr. Miner has directed large capital and endowment campaigns and has significant expertise in strategic planning, feasibility studies, major gifts, board development, budget planning and annual fundraising.
