STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY

The Seattle Science Foundation supports a flexible venue for a wide variety of courses, conferences and meetings. In addition to medical training, the facility is ideal for establishing medical device proof of concept and/or product testing with access to cadaveric or animal tissue models, physician expertise, clinical lab staff and sophisticated technical support with audio and video recording capabilities.  Classes, demonstrations, conferences and meetings can be captured in high definition then edited on premises to produce a finished project in nearly any format.

Typical uses of the Seattle Science Foundation are:

Didactic Courses: Integrative courses to teach, evaluate and share new minimally invasive surgery and endovascular procedural techniques. These courses may involve live case demonstrations and peer interaction around the world.

Hands on Practical Labs: Using a full range of virtual medical simulation equipment and/ or cadaveric facilities outfitted with the latest operating room equipment, physicians and allied health professionals learn new surgical and/or endovascular procedures.

Clinical Trial Investigator meetings: Bring Principal Investigators together with their Clinical Research Coordinators to review the protocol, learn standard operating procedures for the study and get some hands on experience all in one venue. Physicians who can’t make it to the meeting in person can be teleconferenced in with HD connectivity.

Allied Health Care Training: A variety of courses for nurses and/or medical technologists in cardiovascular, interventional radiology and sonography from basic to advanced procedure training and new equipment/product training.
