A Message from the Chair
Dear Fellow Robotic Surgeons:
I would like to invite you to join us for our fifth annual Pacific Northwest Robotic Urology Symposium to be held at the Seattle Science Foundation on September 25-26, 2015.
We have attracted a world-class faculty who are truly experts in the field of robotic urology and they will be sharing the latest advances in renal and prostate robotics. Three (3) live robotic surgeries are planned which promise to be educational and provide the ideal forum for questions and answers. We will also be highlighting a novel way to evaluate robotic surgeon proficiency using video assessment of robotic cases by an objective, anonymous group of raters known as Crowd Sourcing. This will provide feedback for individual surgeons as a way to direct training and improve outcomes.
September in Seattle promises great weather and is the ideal time to explore the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. We welcome you to Swedish Medical Center for this State of the Art symposium on robotic surgery.
